New Podcast Pilot from Team Limited Edition!
Aug 29th, 2010 by shuttler
In this show John, Matt & Stephen get the band back together to talk about their new subject of choice… gaming!
Not your new fangled computer pixel games, they guys wanted to talk about more traditional gaming that seems to have made a come back with new takes on boardgames, card games, tabletop, miniature wargaming and pen and Paper RPG’s
The first show covers The Uncharted Seas from Spartan Games, D&D 4th Edition and Dominion the boardgame.
So find a cosy corner, pop on the audio and take a listen.

Download link?
You can download from the player menu.
The player doesn’t play on my smartphone, which is a shame as it’d be nice to be able to stream this from mobile devices.
oh ok cool I’ll take a look. Works ok on my iPhone as it makes a quicktime stream instead when you click on it. What smartphone do you have? Does it do RSS?
I’ll be sure to put MP3 links in the future posts and include the itunes feed.

Excellent show guys! Seeing the three of you back together on a podcast again is like Monty Python reuniting to do a movie.
Wait, you guys don’t play board games while dressed in yellow spandex?
Matt does! INfact ask him on twitter @teppotastic for photos!
Really enjoyed this podcast. I’d be interested to know if any of you play Pen and Paper RPG games via Skype / remotely ? …and if you do what tools do you use ? – what’s it like ?
Also some advice for a complete novice to board games(like 40K)…I’m interested in playing (anything really) …I even went into Games Workshop but then rushed out when the over familiar sales assistant wanted to know what road I lived in ?? ..it was very odd.
Hi Dathmar/Guy
Are next show (or the one after) is going to be all about us figuring out how to do Pen & Paper over skype so watch this space!
GW staff can be a bit pushy, you can try and get past this. Perhaps find out what day they do beginners games etc or find a local gaming shop that isnt games workshop and get in for a game. There are tons of friendly gamers out there so dont let the unfriendly ones put you off.
How about grabbing a starter set and a mate and learning together?
Thanks I look forward to it.
There is a local gaming night very near me (like 2 mins in the car) –

so I might give that a go.
…as to mates…what mates ??

Seriously – I moved to Devon a few years back and have no mates local (and my “distant” mates are REALLY not into things like this) so joining this club might be a idea.
Thanks for the suggestions.
