Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire

I really enjoyed recording the latest episode of The Online Gamers Anthology with the excellent Jonathan. It was so easy to talk with him and we had a great time chatting about Star Wars Galaxies, I have such a warm fuzzy feeling in regard to that game and I had forgotten how it did so many things right that other games have yet to match for me.
Talking with Jonathan made me recall that prior to that first introduction to MMO’s for me I was engulfed in a series of comics and a game called Shadows of the Empire. This was kind of a new step for Lucas as the action figures, the novel and the comic along with the game were all formed as an idea together and were designed to be multimedia and fill a time line between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Naturally I felt compelled to read these comics and collect the action figures. Being such a fan of Star Wars I don’t know why I haven’t read more Star Wars comics and I plan to, the ones in this series produced by Dark Horse were brilliant.
I’ll be looking out for some on my next visit to the comic shop and listen to the latest Limited Edition featuring some Star Wars talk in particular The Clone Wars movie and The Force Unleashed game/Graphic Novel.
Anyway, I thought I’d share an image of the comics as I love the covers so much, I may dust off the figures at some point and post those.

Dark horse is pretty cool, I’m glad they are making some good Star Wars comics.
Great Show, it is one I like to play in the car since my Daughter is with me most of the time. She likes it too.

Glad you like the issues yes there were 6 although I think they gave bonus ones out with smoe of the hasbro toys.
