So following the event of Batman RIP & Battle for the Cowl Gotham finally sees the return of Batman & Robin.
A flying batmobile takes its first outing with Batman and Robin at the helm, although not the Caped Crusaders as we know it?
I don’t want to spoil it for you and if you really want to find out I’m sure wikipedia can help, but this comic book written by Grant Morrison has my attention. Packed with questions, story and action it takes a trip back to how what appears to be Traditional Batman romps through Gotham.
What I will say about the new Batman and Robin is that I wasn’t so surprised about Batman, but the Robin choice took me a little bit of time to digest. I think that’s the point though. I don’t even think the new Batman is sure about the decision that makes for great drama.
If Batman has put you off lately, as it’s all been so erratic, this takes a step back to how crime fighting in DC should be!
