Plenty of everything, except time!

It seems lately I have to book slots of time out for things otherwise I don’t get to do them. This is so alien to me, I used to have the time to pick up a comic, jump in to my favourite MMO or watch a movie. These days when the working day is over and the chores and other boring tasks are completed. I seem to have a strict time table in order to find time for all the things I enjoy other than family time.
Wednesday night continues to be City of Heroes/Villains night which is always a pleasure. incidently anyone is welcome to join us on the Defiant server my global is @shuttler. Last Wednesday I missed the usual fun in favour of checking out the first episode of Heroes. I wasn’t blown away by this intro episode as I mentioned in the latest episode of Limited Edition. Despite the excellent Hiro, Ando and my new favourite Daphne the speedster I was a troubled by the new sexpest Mohinda, future Clare and future (emo) Peter. Despite liking Sylar as a character I can’t get the spinach can image from the end of last season out of my head..Toot! Toot! Ugugugugugugugu.
Thanks (I think) to Stephen for making me check out the new Knight Rider, this is exactly the type of trash TV I need right now. Explosions that force KITT to overheat and his occupants remove their clothes is a must for any new series as far as i am concerned.
I continue to enjoy All-Star Superman and the new Deadpool is brilliant to me. The right mix of humour, crazy, action and well presented panels makes me happy. A gem amongst most of the current runs I have been reading.
Monday is stolen from me again as I return to Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40K playing and painting. This is actually agood thing as far as time is concerned. Ironically time in the week painting does mean I am sat down with my wife chatting and maybe watching TV or a movie.
I’m a casual gamer these days, I could never power level my way through a game now, I just dont have the time. Games like City of make that OK as I dont have to be the same level as everyone else and the new level lock means I can level even when I am not playing! LOTRO doesn’t seem to want me to level fast so I enjoy that and I have to admit with Liche King on the horizon offering small 10 man raids in 2-3 hours I could be tempted to make a return.
If only I had bought that time machine off ebay when I had the chance.
I haven’t even begun to mention Little Big Planet, that game could take me away from MMOG’s for a while.

I’m finding more and more things to do during the week myself, despite having a short commute. Its a shame you picked wednesday of all days to do the CoH night as I dont tend to get in until ludicrous o’clock from the local running club (finished at 12:30am yesterday!).
Not having internet for a week didnt help either, mmo’s dont work very well without it (nor did Crysis: Warhead and its authentication system – ARGHH)
